Keppel Shipyard, a leading ship repair and conversion yard, has once again awarded Heatec JieTong with two of their most complex and sophisticated projects, FPSO Polvo and P53. FPSO Polvo, a vessel under the ownership of PROSAFE arrived early this year to Keppel Shipyard. Since then Heatec has been involved in the installation of main deck structure, tank structure, turret process, outfitting work and the most recent fabrication and installation of the metering skit module and the flare supports. So far Heatec has managed to provide excellent workmanship on schedule. Another massive project that Heatec is engaged on in Keppel Shipyard is P53. P53 (ex. Settebello) under the ownership of Petrobras arrived to Keppel in March 2005. The vessel itself has been undergoing heavy conversion work. Her turret, which is the largest in the world, is currently constructed and fabricated in Keppel Shipyard. Together with the turret and the vessel, P53 is the biggest project in Keppel history. Heatec JieTong was very much involved in the installation and renewal of the main deck structure, accommodation, tank pipings, pump room tubings and many outfitting works. Heatec alone handle all the piping systems on the biggest turret in the world.
